The Mi 15 Ultra is the follow-up to the Mi 14 Ultra, and will be available globally soon after its Chinese launch this year. It has one minor downside, though: the international Mi 15 Ultra has a smallerXiaomi Mi 15 Ultra smartphone battery than the 6,000 mAh Chinese model. Xiaomi has also equipped its flagship smartphone with a faster SoC, a brighter display, and a larger Xiaomi Mi 15 Ultra smartphone battery than its predecessor. The Ultra is also the first smartphone to officially support Bluetooth 6.0 and UFS 4.1. Case in point: The Mi 15 Ultra is IP68 certified The Mi 15 Ultra is available in black, white, and silver chrome (the latter being our test unit). It’s slightly thicker and heavier than its predecessor, but still manages to maintain a good balance and doesn’t feel top-heavy despite the large camera module. Xiaomi claims a thickness of 9.35mm, but our measurements put it at a slightly thicker 9.7mm — bringing the thickness to 15.6mm with the camera bump. Xiaomi smartphones are IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The SIM card tray cover is made of aluminum, while the tray itself is made of plastic.

With a capacity of 5,410 mAh, while smaller than the Chinese version (6,000 mAh), the battery life in testing was excellent. These results are also significantly better compared to the predecessor. However, in most cases, competitors still last longer.
The smartphone also has a range of AI features under the Xiaomi HyperAI banner. These include Gemini, circular search, dynamic wallpaper creation, AI translation, and more. It also offers a number of AI-based photo editing tools.

Thanks to IEEE 802.11be, the Mi 15 Ultra offers the full bandwidth of Wi-Fi 7 on all three bands. In our tests using the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 (link to Amazon) as a reference router, transfer speeds were fast and stable.
