It also tracks movements accurately at up to 750 inches per second and 70g of acceleration. It’s rated for 90 million clicks, thanks to its use of optical switches.

If you want a mouse with more buttons and features, the Logitech G502 X is your best choice. In addition to the two side buttons, the mouse includes two edge buttons for changing the DPI on the fly, and a removable, two-way “sniper button” for temporarily lowering the DPI. The scroll wheel acts as two additional buttons by tilting it left and right, and another button lets you switch between “stepped” and smooth scrolling. The wireless version of the G502 X Lightspeed ($100) is heavier at 102g, but offers 140 hours ofG502 X Lightspeed batterylife, and can be wirelessly charged with the Powerplay mouse pad ($109). The G502X Plus ($133) adds eight-zone RGB lighting, but expect the Logitech G502X Plus battery life of the Logitech G502X Plus to drop from 130 hours to 37 hours after activating the lighting. All versions can store five settings profiles.
