QuickTake on iPhone: what you can do and how to use it

 When Apple released iOS 15 in September, Apple had perfected the QuickTake function, the panoramic shooting function and the UPI QR code scanning function. In iOS 15, you can now swipe up or down to change the zoom ratio of the video while using QuickTake.

iPhone SE (2nd generation) and iPhone 11 series support QuickTake itself, iPhone X series, iPhone 11 series and iPhone SE (2nd generation) provide extended functions through iOS 14. The new QuickTake zoom function is only available for iPhone XS, iPhone XR and newer models.

How to use QuickTake on iPhone?

1. Open the camera application. By default, it will be set to photo mode.

2. Press and hold the shutter button. The app will automatically switch to video mode and start recording.

3. To lock the video recording, slide the shutter button to the right.

4. Release the shutter button to stop recording.

When the shutter button is locked in place, you can tap to take a photo while shooting.

How to use QuickTake zoom function on iPhone

1. Open the camera application.

2. Press and hold the shutter button. The app will automatically switch to video mode and start recording.

3. While holding down the shutter button, swipe up to zoom in or down to zoom out.

4. Release the shutter button to stop recording.
