While my fingers know where all the keys are, sometimes my brain needs a little help, and the backlighting provides that. I also like the large trackpad. I found that I made fewer misclicks with this trackpad than I would with a smaller laptop. The Inspiron 14 I tested had 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage — plenty, but honestly, if you’re doing a lot of graphics work or, like me, take a lot of photos and store them on the hard drive, I don’t think it would be too hard to use up that storage quickly.
