Wireless ideal: Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard Review

Today I want to introduce you to a device designed for processing large amounts of text. Until recently, I was used to using a cheap but very convenient Logitech UltraX typing keyboard, and I chose it for two reasons.

Asus Zenbook 15 OLED review: Stylish and solid in every way

ASUS ZENBOOK 15 OLED REVIEW: DISPLAY
I have to say this is the standout feature of this laptop. The name really says it all, as you’ll find a 15.6-inch OLED display front and center with a peak brightness of 550 nits and a resolution of 2880 x 1620 (16:9 aspect ratio). ASUS ZENBOOK 15 OLED batteryHaving tested many of the best gaming laptops, all of which had short battery life, I’m happy to be able to tell you that the Zenbook 15 OLED should last for more than a few hours.
ASUS claims the 67Wh battery should last up to 13 hours, but I haven’t quite gotten that level of performance. The battery drained by 20% while streaming The Grand Budapest Hotel on Disney+ for 1 hour and 40 minutes (full brightness). That’s not bad – 500 minutes, so over 8 and a half hours at full brightness on Wi-Fi – and in more general use, you’ll easily get over 10 hours of ASUS ZENBOOK 15 OLED batterylife on a single charge. The only real issue is the MacBook Air 15-inch, which easily managed 15 hours of MacBook Air 15-inch battery
life when running a similar streaming test. This is probably two-thirds better.ASUS ZENBOOK 15 OLED REVIEW: PERFORMANCEThe Zenbook model we reviewed was the “UM3504,” which comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 (7000 series) processor, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and AMD Radeon graphics. What does that mean in English? It should be more than capable of handling any average task you throw at it. Basically, if you’re not a professional video editor or a hardcore gamer, you won’t have any problems here.
In terms of noise output, it’s not completely fanless like the MacBook Air, but it’s fairly quiet – it only gets noticeably hot when you’re gaming. As for heat, the bottom can get pretty hot, but the top stays cool at all times.
If you’re into benchmarks, then you might be interested to know that in our Geekbench test, this Zenbook scored 2064 for single-core CPU and 9475 for multi-core. Meanwhile, the GPU measured 28,787 – certainly respectable, but proof that this isn’t a dedicated gaming machine.
ASUS ZENBOOK 15 OLED REVIEW: FEATURES I must admit, I really like the Zenbook’s keyboard and trackpad. There’s plenty of room for precise typing compared to 13-inch machines, and there’s even a number pad (oh my goodness). The arrow keys do feel a little squeezed, but otherwise, it’s pretty good.
If you’re looking for a party trick, this laptop even comes with a 180-degree hinge that allows it to lay completely flat. This could be very useful if you have a standing desk, but otherwise, it’s a bit niche.
In terms of connectivity, these ultra-thin laptops often forgo useful connectors for the sake of fashion, but the Zenbook does a great job. It has one USB-C 4.0, one USB-C 3.2, and even an old-school “fat” USB-A, as well as an HDMI 2.1 port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max Review

Every year, we hear some version of the “biggest iPhone update ever,” and while its accuracy varies, what’s before you today is indeed the biggest iPhone ever – the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Before we go on, let’s unbox it. You get a nice braided USB-C cable and a SIM tool – enjoy them, we feel like they’re probably getting old too. Apple has packed a truly massive 6.9-inch screen into this year’s Pro Max, but it doesn’t feel like a giant iPhone. That’s because Apple has also slimmed down the bezels, so the increase in size doesn’t feel as drastic. Still, aside from the thickness remaining the same at 8.3mm, this year’s big iPhone is slightly larger than its predecessor in every direction. Aside from the bigger screen and chip update, the biggest new feature on the iPhone 16 Pro Max is the new camera control button, which is a pretty innovative concept. It’s a real button – pressing it opens the camera app from any screen (double-tap from a locked phone), but it also recognizes pressure and opens deeper controls that you can swipe on.
We love this new button because it opens the camera app from anywhere, but it took us some time to get used to it. We immediately felt that it was better suited for portrait use and for right-handed people – it’s far from the most comfortable in landscape mode. Coming back to the question of the size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max – it’s side by side with the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The iPhone is a lot bigger than the Pixel, but when put together, its screen doesn’t seem any bigger than the Galaxy’s We’ve already started our review of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but there’s still a lot to test, so bear with us!

However, while we didn’t feel any real improvement in real-world performance with this feature, having the cores running at high clock rates all the time does have a very real impact on battery life.
