Asus added a new product to its convertible laptop lineup this week, announcing the upcoming release of the new Asus NovaGo, which comes with aAsus NovaGo laptop battery that can last up to 22 hours on a single charge and up to 30 days on standby. The Asus NovaGo comes pre-installed with Microsoft’s Windows 10 S operating system, though you can choose to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free until September 30, 2018 if you prefer. Inside the Asus NovaGo is Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile processor to date, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which can be supported by up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The system includes a 13.3-inch screen that offers users a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Asus has also integrated a Qualcomm X16 Gigabit LTE modem. Battery life is longer than other convertible laptops, thanks to a new way that when the display is off, the laptop goes into sleep mode, just like a smartphone, saving Asus NovaGo battery life when not in use. Then, with the press of a button, the Asus NovaGo is back up and running in no time. Asus explains that the entry-level Asus NovaGo convertible laptop with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage is expected to cost around $600, while a system with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage will cost closer to $800.
