The camera looks particularly promising. Dual 50Mp sensors guide charging on the back of the phone; OmniVision OV50A 1/1.55​​in main sensor with 2μm pixels and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and a 50Mp ISOCELL S5KGM1 ultra-wide snapper. The extra grunt from 8 Gen 1 also facilitates 8K video capture, and there is also a 2Mp depth sensor.

Although the camera is a bit small, the charging speed is not fast, and it is equipped with Android 11 instead of Android 12. Edge S30 still looks like a powerful kit; especially because of the price of its basic 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
