Windows 11 is coming soon. Microsoft’s new operating system will be rolled out to eligible devices on October 5. If you are already a Windows 10 user, the upgrade will be free. Before you download, check whether your current Windows 10 computer is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 11. If you buy a new PC between now and the official release, the computer will also be eligible for a free upgrade.
So how should I download the Windows 11 Insider Preview version?
If you are a member of the Windows Insider Program (register now for free), you can download a preview version of Windows 11 immediately. However, it is important to note that Beta versions, especially early versions, often have problems. You should never download the beta version on your main device. If you have a test device, you can only download it on the test device.
The download steps are as follows:
- Make sure that your device is running a licensed version of Windows 10 and you are the administrator of the device. If you have not yet registered to join the Windows Insider Program. Or log in to your Windows Insider account. Click Start Flight.
- Go to Settings> Update & Security> Windows Insider Program. Click Start.
- Under Pick an account to get started, select + to connect to your registered Microsoft account and continue.
- Follow the instructions to choose the experience and channel you want to get the Insider Preview version: Dev channel (for developers), Beta channel (for early adopters), or release preview channel (for those who want to get the latest version) The version is there Before it was generally released).
