Unlike the Reno10 Pro, the original Reno10 only has a few color modes to choose from. The default setting is the Vivid color mode, which targets the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a fairly wide coverage, but is not accurate enough and tends to be cool. There’s also a Natural mode, which targets the sRGB color gamut and also covers far more than it’s accurate. We tried adjusting the color temperature using the provided slider to counteract the cooler color cast, but this didn’t help the overall color accuracy much. The Reno10 has a 10-bit panel. With the ability to reproduce over a billion colors, this means less color banding. The display is also HDR10+ certified. At a software level, the phone can decode HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, but doesn’t support Dolby Vision.
