A year after the release of the Mi Pad 5 Pro, the company has released a new, longer version of the same tablet. Nokia G60 5G review: What’s Old is New Again

This makes it more convenient for watching YouTube or the latest Netflix show on the train, but you’ll naturally find the pricier devices more appealing – blacks don’t always have the right depth (OLED excels in this regard), but colors are solid throughout. One big advantage of the Nokia G60 5G is its 120Hz refresh rate, but the implementation could be better. At the time of writing, you can’t push that refresh rate to its limit, and the phone decides when you need that smoothness.

While it’s true that the Nokia G60 5G can’t compete with flagships and more premium offerings, I’m happy to say that the device has enough power to feel capable.
That’s thanks to Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 695 processor and 64 or 128GB of storage. RAM is just 4GB, so don’t load too many apps at once.
 I was able to get almost two days of use out of it, and that was with a 4,500 mAh battery – which of course makes me wonder if a 5,000 mAh Nokia G60 battery is possible, given the size of the phone. That’s just a minor quibble, though.

As you’d expect, there’s no charger in the box in the interest of reducing e-waste, but instead a USB-C to USB-C cable is provided. If you do buy a charger, you’ll be able to enjoy fast charging at up to 20W. In my testing, the phone was at 14% after 15 minutes of charging with the adapter plugged in, and 26% after 30 minutes. Camera

An option to disable AI would be a welcome option. The AI ​​portrait mode is undoubtedly one of the best modes out there, but recent updates have made it more aggressive with contrast. Nikon D4S Review – Field Testing Part 3

For my final batch of photos shot with the Nikon D4S, I decided to do some documentary photography around Greenwich Village. I purposely chose to shoot from dusk to early evening to test the camera’s amazing high ISO capabilities.

Set to Auto ISO, I shot a series of portraits of people walking on the street and sitting inside and outside restaurants. The D4S’s sensitivity climbs from ISO 14,400 equivalent all the way up to an amazing ISO 229,880.

To test the Nikon D4S’s video capabilities, I took it to Tompkins Square Park one evening. I wanted to experiment with the extremely shallow depth of field that the camera’s full-frame sensor can achieve when paired with the AF-S 50mm f/1.4 lens. I set the lens to focus on some flowers in the foreground, then shifted focus to people walking by in the background and shot several clips using a shutter speed of 1/125 and apertures ranging from f/1.6 to f/2.8.

It was very easy to compose the shot on the LCD and check exposure with a quick test clip. I had trouble focusing accurately at normal magnification when using the Nikon D4S’s LCD monitor, but I solved this by increasing the live view magnification, which allowed critical focus with a simple button press. While I kept the sensitivity at ISO 200 equivalent for the best footage, you can record movies in manual exposure mode using Auto ISO. This is certainly useful in certain news and documentary shooting scenarios, where light can change during filming.
