The computer cannot be turned on-cause and solution one

Check the power supply and battery

If your HP notebook does not turn on even if it is plugged in, please check the power source first. There may be many problems with the power supply.

1. To test whether there is a problem with the power supply, please completely remove the laptop battery.

CMOS battery

Another possible test solution is to replace the CMOS battery that stores the BIOS settings in the motherboard. Pro tip: Make sure all cables are connected correctly. This may seem simple and obvious, but most of the problems with laptops that cannot be turned on are due to power problems. A loose or unplugged power cord means that your computer cannot get the power it needs to run.

Diagnose screen issues

If your power supply is working properly, you need to troubleshoot further.

1. First, disconnect all non-essential external display devices (such as projectors and monitors) to ensure that they will not interfere with the startup process of the laptop.

2. If the power button is on, you can hear the fan or noise, but no image is displayed, please turn off the light and see if there is a weak image display.
