CES 2025: Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is a rollable laptop

Lenovo brings its rollable concept to consumers in the form of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6.

The laptop features a 400-nit, 120Hz rollable OLED display.

When unfolded, it turns into a massive 16.7-inch device, giving users twice the screen real estate.

Rated for up to 20,000 cycles, which isn’t bad. The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is a Copilot+ PC, thanks to the Core Ultra processor inside. Plus, it comes with two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and Wi-Fi 7.

With the lid open, it looks like any other 14-inch machine with a 2K resolution. But after pressing a dedicated key, the rollable screen unfolds and turns into a massive widescreen tablet with a whopping 2000 x 2350 aspect ratio. The display is a 120Hz unit with 400 nits of brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The laptop features a flexible OLED display that allows for a screen size of 16.7 inches when fully unfolded. Lenovo claims it offers users 50% more screen real estate. Considering the extended screen can easily accommodate two 14-inch displays, this is probably accurate. The laptop is 19.9mm thick and weighs 1.7kg.
